Theres an institution of sorts for all demons, called the court of ristul. Each hell is incredibly hot, and they are seperated by a membrane. All demons and demonicaly influenced speak the demon language, ozkavosh. The demon lords have access to the terrene plane as they wish, while lesser demons like queen of pain or warlocks golem, have to be summoned. They are ruled by the demon lords, which include doom, shadow fiend and shadow demon. Sometimes its divided into and referred to as outer, upper or lower hells. The hell of dota 2 is both a biome with natural inhabitants, AND an afterlife. Its just so we have something visual to help understand when i talk about each demon. But bear in mind that its meant more as a way to hook knowledge onto so its easier to digest, than being 100% factual. Turning nine to seven while also making sense with the info we have was a bit difficult, but i think in the end the result is pretty good.

The hell i have illustrated is based on the little information we have, plus comparing it to the nine hells of dantes inferno. Each hell has different punishments and residents, depending on the crime of the dead soul, or the occupation and specialization of the demon living there. Theres seven hells, or seven infernal regions, is in the dotaverse, where bad boys go when they die.
